Amazing Men!!

With all the mumble of traveling this weekend I forgot to take the time to recognize some amazing men in my life. First I want to start with my Dad. A man of his word and great integrity. My dad has raised four girls. That in and of itself is a great accomplishment. Even greater was that he raised us in the Gospel to know the Saviour and understand our Father's Plan. He did this so often by example and to that I will never be able to thank him enough. Dad you are so INCREDIBLE and I love you more than you will ever know. Thanks for being my Dad.

My Brother-in-law, Ben. He is not to be forgotten on Father's Day this year even though he was far away from his family on this special day. He wears his uniform with great pride and to that I am thankful. There are many families out there that do not understand the sacrifice this little family of ours is making and I am too grateful for the man that he has chosen to be and for the example that he is to all of us. My sister told me that she was explaining to him what the 4th of July meant and after the conversation was over he said to her " I am glad that we can have fireworks on this day so that everyone can thank my daddy" Joshua, I am thankful for your daddy too. We love you Ben and are so proud of all you have accomplished.

I am so lucky to have such a wonderful father-in-law. He loves and supports us and never waivers in his faith. I am forever indebted to him for teaching and raising my husband all that he knows through the Gospel. Without that foundation my home, marriage and family would not be what it is today. Dad, I love you and am so grateful for your unconditional love in return. I feel blessed to have you in my life.

Last but definitely not least is my Knight in Shining Armor! I could not forget to write a tribute to the man that I admire and love the most in my life. He makes me want strive to be a better person. He is an amazing daddy, who would do anything for his children. He works so hard to run our business and provide for our family. I cannot imagine having to work outside of the home and leave my kids with someone else and Brian allows me to be home every single day. There is not a day that I doubt his love for me and our family. When times are tough I know that his testimony in our Saviour will never falter and helps keep us grounded on the path of righteousness. He is a man that is quick to forgive and forget to which I am grateful, for I have many faults that need forgiveness. He honors his priesthood and allows our home to reap the blessings of such worthiness. He is funny and witty and keeps me on my toes. Honey, I love you and am so grateful that you are mine for eternity. You are the light in my eyes and I hope you had a good Father's Day.

Happy Birthday Ellie! & Cabin Fun

My neice turned 2 this past Friday and so we went up to celebrate her birthday with her and the family. Ellie you are a very special girl. I know that your daddy could not be there but that if he was he would have loved and kissed his birthday girl. Happy Birthday Sweetie. Aunt Kellie and Teo love you a lot!

Then on Saturday we went to the Cabin to do Spring cleaning. Clear all the spider webs and vaccum the floors. We also had a toilet to fix because we forgot ot put anti freeze in it before the snow hit. All is well now and it got me excited for the summer up there. The kids loved it there. They could run free and love the ATV's They thought it was fun to wear gloves and "help" clean. After cleaning the kids were outside playing and so all the adults took a nap, we did not wake up for 2 hours. I am amazed that the kids entertained themselves for that long.

Weekend with Grandma & Grandpa

This weekend we had Grandma and Grandpa Clark visit us. On Friday night we went to Tuacahn to see Annie. The kids loved it and it was a great performance. Kenna was just amazed that she got to meet Annie after the show and insisted that we get her picture with her and have her sign the book. She did not want to leave because she liked it so much. It is so cool that we live so close to so many beautiful outdoor wonders. On Saturday we went to the Grand Canyon. They had never been there and so it was fun to see it with them. We spent the day at the canyon and had lunch at the lodge and then drove home. We were all so exhausted and ready for a day of rest. What fun weekend and many memories to look back on.

Safety Town

The kids attended a Safety Town for two weeks right after school. It is a wonderful program that teaches kids how to be safe in this scary world. Kenna and Hunter loved it and sing the songs they learned every day especially when they get in the car. At their graduation Ronald McDonald came and did a magic show, they especially loved that.

Growing Moss...

The past 2 weeks we have had a leak coming out of our water holes in our front driveway. We called the city and they told us they would send someone out. He came out and left without giving us a verdict on the leak. It took me 3 days to get a hold of someone to find out what we needed to do. To make a long story short they came out 3 additional times and the problem was never fixed nor did they attempt to fix it either. Finally now that there is moss growing in the gutters all the way down the street and not much longer and we would have had tadpoles too, they are here to fix it. Yes we are without water and have been for several hours and probably will be for several more. They have encountered more than they thought. Well at least the problem should be fixed soon. My only problem now is that we have used our one flush in the toilets and so we may have to call upon the neighbors to use theirs. With three kids there is no way that one flush will last all day.

BIg Fish

My dad came into town last weekend and the boys went fishing, of course. Hunter was so excited that Daddy was going to wake him up early to let him go with him and grandpa. I know they had fun and to top it all off, Dad caught a big bass. Brian thinks that it was at least 4lbs. Way to Go Dad!
