Military Folks

Today as we were driving home from having lunch with Brian I was playing kids music and a song came on about being grateful for all the veterans and Military folks who give us our freedom. My brother-in-law is in the Army and throughout his training (which is now complete) he was gone off and on. When he graduated I gave him this bear that sings God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood. My nephew learned this song and sings it really well. It is now one of his favorite songs. I am so grateful to men and women like Ben who leave their families behind so often to give me what is often taken for granted, our freedom. I too know the strength that my sister has to let him go, She amazes me! Ben will be leaving on a "mission" to Korea in March for a couple of weeks and again I say....THANKS Ben and Linds for all your many sacrifices on our behalf. And to Joshua, Ellie and Chase....your daddy is an amazing man and he will never let you down! The song states it best..." On Veteran's Day a tribute we pay to those wonderful men who help to defend America, we salute! And thank you to all who answer the call to defend America. Those military folks in uniform who left their homes for battle's storm, they gave so generously to defend America. We are Proud to Salute them this Day. I know it is not Veteran's Day but everyday is a day to remember the sacrifices they have given us generously.
