Grand Canyon

Today we decided to go the Grand Canyon. It was so spontaneous and so fun. It was such a beautiful drive. The kids have never been there and neither had we. Brian and I have been to the South Rim but never the North. It was a great family day and I am grateful for the beautiful nature that surrounds us.

Father like Son...

Brian has a bad habit of taking any camera and doing a whole photo shoot on himself and by himself. It is quite annoying sometimes. This time however I was scrolling through my pictures and found random pics of Hunter. He must of found the camera and decided it would be fun to take pics of himself over and over again. These few that I posted are just a 1/4 of the photo shoot. Well it made for a good laugh.

MaKenna's Graduation from Pre-School

My oldest baby will no longer go to Pre-school, she is a big Kindergartner. It is sad how quickly they grow up and change. Kenna has done so well in school and she is starting to read already too. She knows all her sounds, letters, numbers and colors which Hunter is trailing right behind. She is a little social butterfly and loves to talk. Her teacher called her the little "Chatter Box" and we can agree with her. Kenna always has something to say and an opinion about it all. I am grateful that she has a strong will to do what is right and say what is on her mind. She is determined and that will serve her well. MaKenna, dad and mom love you more than you will ever know and we are so glad you are in our home to bless our lives. We are proud of you!! Great Job, Princess!

Camping & Mother's Day Fun!

For Mothers's Day weekend we went camping as a family. It was a blast. We were not sure how Brianna would do but she did fine and she loved it. Then we had a Great Sunday. After Church the kids gave me a footrub and we had nice long naps and then went to some friends for dinner.

Most importantly that weekend I found myself surrounded by the people that mean the most to me and give me the greatest honor by being their mom. I love my little family and i am so grateful for the gospel that allows us the knowledge to to know that we can live together again.

No More Ear Aches...

Brianna has had several ear infection since her 1st birthday. I kept trying to figure out why she would not walk. Brian would say that she was going to be the first toddler to crawl to nursery. Well we finally figured it out! Hooray Mom and Dad it's about time! She had one infection after another and in between antibiotics she would still have fluid in her ears which was causing her equillibrium to be wavy. She could not hold here balance. It was never the stubborn attitude we thought it was but don't be mistaken that she is not stubbron. She gets whatseh wants and when she wants it too. We took her in for surgery yesterday morning and they admit her because they have to do general anestesia. She did great and we are back on track again. Thanks to the nurses and docs that were so great with her. They were dancing, singing and entertaining her the whole morning. Then after the surgery, they cuddled and loved my baby...so thanks. It means a lot to have great care for your baby.

California Getaway!

This past weekend we went to California to attend a baptism. We took some time to relax and enjoy the beach and my favorite Balboa Bars and I should not admit that I had two Banana Shakes in one afternoon too. No one can make them like this place on Balboa Island can. It was Brianna's first time to the beach and she loved throwing sand. The kids loved playing in the sand and at the pool too. Thanks Mom and Dad for helping us have such a great weekend.
